Shaw Brothers Earns Diamond Quality Commendation

Lanham, MD – The National Asphalt Pavement Association (NAPA) announced that Brickyard Asphalt Plant, Shaw Brothers Construction, in Gorham, ME, has earned NAPA’s Diamond Quality Commendation.

The Diamond Quality Commendation is a nationally recognized program that focuses on plant practices resulting in excellent product quality.  NAPA Chairman, Mike Cote stated, “The Diamond Quality Commendation is an honor in which a company, their customers, their employees and the industry can take great pride.  It clearly demonstrates a corporate commitment to quality.”

NAPA developed the Diamond Quality program in 2009.  The areas evaluated through the self-assessment process include RAP and Aggregate Handling, Asphalt Storage, Drying and Mixing, Air Quality, Truck Scales, Silos and Control Rooms.  Earning the Commendation is a work of distinction, signifying a company that follows responsible practices and a blueprint for excellence in the production of pavement materials.
