Sept. 1, 2013
Shaw Brothers Construction is providing construction services including clearing, access matting, pole excavation and backfill, bedrock removal, pole can installation, environmental controls, and surface restoration to all three of the major contractors performing transmission-line construction for the Maine Power Reliability project. What started out as excavation and backfill in support of the new pole installations has grown to include right-of-way access with timber matting installation and removal, installation and maintenance of environmental controls, as well as complete restoration at project completion. With our new TimberPro forwarder and our extensive fleet of late-model excavators, Shaw Brothers Construction is uniquely suited to performing this work in an efficient and expeditious manner.
